Short Description:
This a possible scenario for the XN Ariel Rising. Virgil has been sent to meet the Ptolemy crew after Zero when missing. He was attacked shortly after and is now being picked up by the Ptolemy crew. They have captured his Gundam and put Virgil into emergency care. What happens next? A short lived upgraded Ariel and the death of a so called Innovator

Virgil's eyes slowly flickered open. He looked up at an unfamiliar ceiling through a large glass casing. He had no idea where he was, rather he hardly remembered much from before the attack. Attack? Wait what?! What attack?

Virgil's mind thought back to mere days ago. He had been sent on a mission to meet with Celestial Being. He was to be Masurao Kitai's representation for a possible alliance with CB. Along the way however he encountered a powerful foe. GNZ-005 Garazzo. The dark purple machine had attack relentlessly showing not even he slightest sign of mercy.

The Ariel suffered great damage and had lost most of it's weapons, including it's irreplaceable Gunblade backpack. If it had not been for the Uriel's GN drive being installed on the Gundam Virgil would not have escaped. While using Trans-AM, an option known as Trans-AM Pulse had activated. With it, Virgil had put enough distance between himself and the enemy to escape.

Virgil now knew where he was. He pushed up on the casing and forced it to open. The machine made it's general swooshing sound as it opened. Spotting a pile of clothing in the corner Virgil slowly got up and retrieved them. He donned the black and white uniform and turned to leave.

Just before he could the door slid open and 3 people stood there, each dressed in the same uniform Virgil was wearing but each had a different colour.

"Ah, good to see our guest has regained consciousness. Now, how about you tell us what happened?", said Lasse Aeon while holding gun directly pointed at Virgil.

"Now, now. No need to point guns. We were supposed to talk about an alliance, after all.", said Ian Vashti.

Virgil froze on the spot. Two men and woman... He had not been briefed on who he would be meeting, but he had expected some hostility. After all, MK looks as bad as the A-LAWS to celestial being at the moment and it didn't help that they had a space cannon the size of a colony. Not that CB knew there were TWO.

As the second, much older man spoke to the other younger, yet tougher looking one, Virgil wondered who the woman was. She was quite the woman too, the pair looked bigger than Virgil's whole head each.

"I'll assume you guys are not the Gundam Meisters. Though Mr Trigger-happy over there looks like he could prove me wrong." Virgil was only making things worse for himself by kidding around.

"Before I sing like a canary, can we move to a more suitable interrogation room?" He added.

"How come we always get these smart ass tough guys, huh? You think you are in any position to make demands? You're lucky I don't shoot you right and now, after the stuff Masurao Kitai has pulled!", said Lasee

"I agree. I'm not happy about my work being used by you Masurao Kitai either. How is that slimeball Zero these days?", said Ian with a smirk in his face.

The woman made her way towards the front. It was none other than Sumeragi Lee Noriega. She looked upon Virgil with a slight expression if disgust. Part of her did not want to even entertain the possibility of working with MK, but these were tought times and such circumstances make strange bedfellows.

"All in due time. Now, after you. You are going to the brig.", said Sumeragi.

Virgil wanted to laugh. Oh how he wanted to laugh at Lasse. But the situation would not allow it. Virgil's mood changed when Ian brought up Zero... Zero was the reason he was here at all.

Before Virgil had arrived, Zero had battled with another Innovator mobile suit. He had take on the enemy alone, only to not only be defeated but sent hurling toward Earth in his wrecked machine. In his last moment Zero had ordered Virgil take the GN Drive and meet with Celestial Being.

Virgil looked to Sumeragi. He didn't know their names, but he could tell them apart enough. He raised his hand up to the height of his chest in a 'cuff me' fashion. From here he would be lead to the brig, a fancy name for a jail aboard a ship. Something stuck Virgil as he prepared to be taken away.

If Celestial Being was not completely willing to join forces, why then accept to this meeting? Could they just want their GN Drive back, or maybe they wanted more than that? Still, even after MK had helped out with defending the Ptolemy during the attack on the Asteroid base, Virgil wasn't expecting much to have changed. Especially since MK had revealed it's other Gundam units.

"OK, then. Ian, 'cuff him.", said Sumeragi.

Ian Vashti carefully approached Virgil, while Lasse kept his gun locked towards the MK member. After Ian was done, he walked away.

"After you, Virgil.", said Lasse, waiting for the prisoner to walk.
