So, I mentioned previously about chronicling the Adventures of the Fallen Michael, and here they are, continued from the RP sample;
In a lonely forest, the dawn light crept above the tree line and onto the figure of a young man, flat on his back. The suns rays moved onto his face and brought him around from the slumber he had been enduring. He was wearing a strange sort of one piece suit, similar to those worn by military pilots, but much more elaborate.
His eyes opened and he looked around a little confused, he tried to rub his eyes, but as he brought his left arm up to his face, he winced in pain. Starting to cough, the pain radiated out from his breast and into his arm. The throbbing, unpleasant feeling started to jog his memory, some creepy punk ass had shown up here and next thing he knew, there was a smoking gun and he fell over.
He had been shot! Realizing, he clutched at his pain with his right hand, and checked the area. He found and torn patch of his pilot suit, and to his relief when he lifted has hand to his face, his fingers wear clean. Further probing the area, underneath the hole in his garment, there seemed to be a lump.
As painful as it seemed to move, he sat up and undid the top of his suit, pulling out the lump he had felt. It was a small piece of metal, attached to a simple string that hung around his neck, and stuck in it was a tiny bullet. Luck must have been on his side today, because if the bullet had been an inch or two in any other direction, the metal would never have stopped it.
Looking at the piece of metal, or more precisely e-carbon, he remembered his brother Johann giving it to him some time ago...
"Aniki!" He exclaimed, as he realized that neither his brother nor sister Nena had awoken him earlier, and looked around his surroundings. His trusty switchblade was near his body, but no one seemed to be in his immediate area. Neither were the three Gundam MS that he and his siblings operated. Looking around himself more intently, he spotted a pistol in the ground, and painfully pulled himself closer to it.
He felt a chill down his spine and his heart almost stopped, when he got closer and saw some blood splatter close to the pistol.
Pocketing the knife and picking up the pistol, he dragged himself to his feet and frantically scanned the surrounding area, for more clues as to what went on here.
Several meters away, there sat an MS, an AEU enact, and the young man remembered that the creep had showed up in it. If the MS was still here, then either he was too, or he had found some other way to get out of here. The young man decided that it was safer to assume the former, and checked the pistol for ammunition. There had been rounds fired from it, but the magazine still contained a few bullets.
He checked the area, with the pistol ready to shoot down that creep, and stumbled around his surroundings. As he ventured deeper into the forest that surrounded him, he found no sign of the creep or his siblings, or the MS that they operated. The pain in his chest wasn’t letting up, and was making it hard to breath. After a few minutes, Michael had to sit down to recuperate; he leant against a tree and looked around the area. Sunlight glistened off something, something much shinier than its surroundings. He cautiously moved closer to it, and he realized it was a piece of his Brothers MS, the Throne Eins, and his blood froze. Ignoring the chest pain, he rushed towards the debris, it littered the area. This wasn’t just a piece that had been broken off in battle, there was too much, it was the whole freakin’ mobile suit!
The young man slumped to his knee’s and punched the ground “Dammit!” He shouted, and punched the ground until his chest pain made him stop. Breathing heavily, he pulled himself back to his feet and told himself “Get it together, Michael, You’ve got to find Nena…”
Forcing himself back to his feet, he once again spotted the Enact and moved towards it. If he could get inside, he could use it's sensors and cameras to get a better view of what was going on...
The pain of climbing up the MS almost killed him, it made him question the superiority he had felt towards the average man. As he got in to the cockpit, panting, he accessed it's systems, and to his astonishment, he discovered that the MS's camera's had been recording what had been happening. Michael brought up it's recording and found a scene showing his own Throne Zwei attacking his Aniki's Eins.
He clenched his teeth, Johann seemed to be struggling to keep up with the Zwei, was he hurt? Michael remembered the patch of blood on the ground, he must have been hurt but recovered enough to pilot.
As he had thought, much to his own anger, the Zwei landed a few shots on Johann and then the Eins exploded spectacularly.
Suddenly, an alarm bleeped on the enacts display system, and showed that several sections of the Radar were quickly being blacked out.
Michael looked out of the cockpit and saw several streams of light approaching quick. It was those wierd MS, that had been attacking them earlier, the fake Gundams. Michael knew he had to get out of there quick, so he grabbed a hold of the drop line and lowered himself to the ground. He was sure to be found out if the caught him, with a wrecked Gundam nearby.
As he ran away from the scene, he cursed himself for thinking of his Aniki's death as a burden to him...
